Jenelle is a proud Navy wife {and Navy brat!} and a West coast gal recently sent East. Despite thinking she would never marry a military man, she found herself head over heels in love with Scott. They have navigated the Navy together for the last 7 years and their latest Navy adventure brings them east from sunny California to the heart of the Navy; Norfolk, Virginia.

Back in the summer of 2011 an idea she had turned into a passion: to start a Navy Wives Website. Navy Wives Unite is a place to learn and share the ropes of Navy life.

Having moved more than 13 times with the military she knows the difficulties military spouses & children go through. She knows that sharing knowledge is the best way for us all to navigate the crazy waters of military life.

Jenelle has worked as a work and family life consultant for the Fleet and Family Support Center in financial counseling, new spouse orientation and relocation. She started a Navy Enlisted Spouses Club at her previous base as she saw a need for spouses to have an outlet to meet other spouses.

Jenelle and her husband were honored in Washington DC as the 2011 Navy Family of the Year. She currently volunteers for Blue Star Families, writes for Homefront United and blogs at Rellas Bellas. Her hope is to one day write a book about how resilient military spouses are.
